Old School Friday: Ohhh It's Too Hot...

For some reason, I think that I am going to get the meaning of this week's theme all wrong.  The theme: Too hot for radio.  My take on that is to discuss songs that were too risque for radio.  So I am basically reading the theme literally.

This one I have to actually put thought into.  There's 2 Live Crew and a few that I can touch on, but they would be too cliche.

I just watched A View To A Kill and lord this woman was a dark chocolate goddess, a model, a certified bad gal - but sexy nonetheless.  Boomerang anyone?  Now seriously, who REALLY new what this song was about when we heard it?  And there I was shaking my thang thang and singing from the top of my lungs throughout the house.  Now I understand the dirty looks and cut eye my parents used to give me for singing the damn song.

I am tapped out today.  Please check out the rest of my OSF Fam here

Have a wonderful weekend.

I remember this song! It was great! The song wasn't to bad but Grace Jones herself is too hot for radio!!

It's okay being tapped out, some themes are easier than others. Although I think Grace Jones was too hot for TV, as well. I like the Petra dance-hall remix, best.

@Regina: True, but not the stuff you want to hear come out of your young daughter's mouth though...lol

@Mrs. Grapevine: In tapped out, I meant I was too tired to think!...lol I had a list, but I was following the guidelines and being good. :)

Yes, I agree - I love Patra's version too!
